In the garden

This little girl found her favourite garden at the Tallinn flower festival. She was desperate to climb up on the bench for her mom to take a picture of her but she couldn’t so she turned the other cheek 🙂

As a child, we often went camping with my parents. We were not allowed to go to Western Europe so we would spend our vacations in countries of the Eastern bloc: Poland, Czechoslovakia, East Germany. This tinned pork ham brings back many memories of “yummy” camping meals. Now it is one of the specialities one could purchase at the duty free shop☺️
Now there is a proof I have been to Tallinn and left my fingerprint on the wall of business cards at the airport☺️
Farewell, Estonia! You have been so generous to me! I expected calm, relaxing, cool weather, instead you gave me your warmth and light, your colors and happy feelings! Thank you, I will come back.
Just colors, just summer lovin’
Girls just wanna have fuuun!
When it comes to Estonia, there are many things that brought me nice surprises but what I think I like most is this wonderful dark brown bread full of grains. So tasty, crunchy and soft, with a little bit of sweetness, yummm!
I absolutely adore Russian laquer boxes. The beautifully delicate detailed painting, the vibrant colors of the pictures from old Russian stories and fairy tales. They come in different sizes but the smaller the box, the more lovely it is with more beautiful detailed drawings. The first time I saw one in Bulgaria, it was love at first sight. Then in Russia and now in Estonia. They are coming home with me to be added to my little collection.

I am absolutely mesmerized by the Estonian sky! As the sun sets, the sea and the horizon melt into each other, the most peaceful phenomenon I could sit and watch forever. Taken at 9:45 pm last night, I don’t think I could do justice to the palette of soft colors that were appearing in front of my eyes. I csn hardly wait to watch another glorious sunset here.
