Nothing fancy, nothing artsy. Not shocking or thought provoking. Just strawberries that melt in your mouth 🍓🥰
A fine discovery of how much better life tastes with vegan miso mayo at the Viennese restaurant, Oben.
The season of sparkles has begun! Traditional “Chrismas tree candies” in various flavors coming to stores now: such as walnut, marzipan, chestnut, jelly, coconut, peach, chocolate, charamel, orange cream, raspberry, chocholate and sour cherry, forrest berries, coffee truffle, poppy seed, plum, and many many more.
I confess: I have fallen for roasted chestnuts. Here in Porto you can buy them in the street (I have been, every evening). As you walk, you can see the smoke of the roasting carts from far away. You get about 15 chestnuts and the sellers put them in double paper bags (attached to each other) so as you walk in the street and eat these delicious warm nuts, you can throw the shells in the other bag. Really practical.
First dinner in style. Hello, Porto☺️
Matcha green tea latte has moved close to my home. Thank you, SB🍵
Kálmán Confectionery, a small treasure in the village of Zsámbék, is located about half an hour from Budapest. Hard to choose what cakes not to buy for a delicious weekend afternoon. And no, I don’t think we are related, though regular discounts when eating their yummy cakes would be very welcome☺️
Rose, salted caramel, mango
Memories of childhood when the pantry at my grandparents’ house was filled with jars of beautiful apricot jar, peach and raspberry. When my grandma would be – from the early morning – baking amazing cakes and the fragrance of different jams would fill the house. I loved those weekends. I hope she is smiling now as the pantry is being filled up with apricot and blueberry, plum and tangerine jam.
