His CEU

“CEU is for me a grand experiment in living. All through the year, I have seen my consciousness deconstructed in multifarious respects—indeed, such deconstructions of the very foundations of my worldview has meant a refashioning and repositioning of my life in my unflinching quest to comprehend myself and others. The diligence of the faculty—particularly in the Department of Political Science, my department—invariably challenged me to thoroughly re-examine my own contentions and to think of the world as an ocean of possibilities where the exchange of ideas ensures refinement for the acquisition of truth. The cosmopolitan mission of CEU—a mission I clearly endorse as a cosmopolitan myself—has meant that I connected with diverse networks of camaraderie: my topographical gnosis has so much expanded that I can now pinpoint a friend in almost all parts of the globe. I look forward into the future, and all I perceive is an experiment whose telos is paideia—an education with a spiritual and moral content with the ultimate aim of enabling me to succeed in many spheres than one.”
