Laquered fairy tales

I absolutely adore Russian laquer boxes. The beautifully delicate detailed painting, the vibrant colors of the pictures from old Russian stories and fairy tales. They come in different sizes but the smaller the box, the more lovely it is with more beautiful detailed drawings.

The first time I saw one in Bulgaria, it was love at first sight. Then in Russia and now in Estonia. They are coming home with me to be added to my little collection.
