Original Mozart

The ‘Original Salzburger Mozartkugel’ was created by Salzburg confectioner Paul Fürst in 1890. His delicious treat made from marzipan and pistachio surrounded by nougat and dark chocolate quickly became the city’s most famous confection.

Today the original Mozartkugel is still produced by the family factory and is sold in only four shops in Salzburg. And after 130 years, Fürst’s Mozartkugels are still made here by hand.
