Mine to do

“It took me many decades to discover that I could come at my life with a different question. Not: Why did I live? But: What is mine to do with the life I’ve been given?” – Edith Eger

“I am happiest at my ‘workplace’! Working with children, deceloping their skills and talents, striving to show them an example in different life situations, nurturing them with love and a pure heart — this is happiness for me.”🥰
Day 17/19 “The hearts of children are extremely pure and simple. A person’s heart must be like a child’s, pure and free from all contamination.” “The more the mirror (of the heart) is clear and pure the greater will the rays and the bounties of the Sun of Truth show forth from it.” – ‘Abdu’l-Bahá
Not everybody is bored at the airport. These three have been running up and down with the trolleys having fun☺️
“The fact is that hurting people hurt people, and children raised with condemnation in whatever form it takes are hurting people. Period. Words matter.” – L.R.Knost
"Motherhood is a bit like being Robin Hood! You are always alert and ready to defend the little munchkins! It's stressful and tiring but the most rewarding 'job' you could ever do. They pull you back to earth and give you a reason to get out of bed (of course, usually because they are hungry), but thinking more of the endless love they give you❤️
“Motherhood is a gift. A simple gift that comes everyday by seeing my children grow. I rediscover everything that I know already. I learn to love my new body, I learn how to talk well to my children, I learn to be selfless. With that, comes a whole load of joy and love.”
The three angels of Fátima — Lúcia de Jesus dos Santos and her cousins, Jacinta and Francisco Marto – claimed to have witnessed six apparitions of the Virgin Mary in 1917. Jacinta was 7, Francisco was 9 and Lúcia was 10 at the time. On the centenary of the first apparition, May 13, Pope Francis canonized two of the children — the third is also on the way to sainthood — during a mass attended by half a million Catholics.

On the centenary of the first apparition Pope Francis canonized two children — the […]
“One day we found an old home movie picturing my partner as a small child at the lake Balaton. I wasn’t sure at the time whether I wanted to have kids or not, but he was so super cute that I got immediately persuaded. ‘I would love to have a child like you used to be.’ – I said to him. My wish came true: my son is the exact replica of my husband. Looks aside, it is fascinating how unique he is with personality traits that are apparent at a very early age. He is an amazing little human […]
