Her birthday

I have recently found this beautiful embroidered cloth in the home of a wonderful lady. It reminded me immediately of my mother who was born on 16 July 1948❤️ The gentle, handwoven cloth, the finely embroidered little roses and tulips, the still vibrant colours of the threads after 75 years they brought back memories of the warm and selfless nature of my dear mom.
