Love her

“Love her in love, in labour, and in fight, As if she were a song at heaven’s portal… Love her with all your heart and all your might, And with her glory we shall be immortal.” – From the poem Love Ukraine by Volodymyr Sosiura (1944)

Erszike and Erszike🥰, two wonderful souls who embody the beauty and love, the life and tradition of Kalocsa. I met them yesterday and enjoyed very much listening to how they talk about their heritage, how they carry in their everyday life what the word ‘Kalocsa’ means ❤️

The mighty, the fluffy, the one and only cheesy softy pogacsa. You take one, then two, then three, and then you don’t count them anymore☺️
Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all? Beautiful hand-carved mirrors spotted at the Festival of Folk Arts.
Ica and Andrea, masters of kunsági embroidery. Carrying on a rich heritage filled with dreamy, colorful flowers 🌸
I love walking on streets I haven’t before. Our hometowns are full of gems we never got to see before. Walking down from the Buda Castle, these figures caught my eyes as they were standing guard at one of the windows on Hunyadi street. If I had such lovely sculptures by my balcony, I think I would say good morning to them every day🥰
