Jókai Mór, the great Hungarian writer and his wife, Laborfalvi Róza, actress diva of their time, lived in Balatonfüred for some twenty years, until after the time of her death. They loved this beautiful villa that became home to many of his famous novels. Stepping back in time, one can be explore what the life of these two artists and socialites was like.

Yesterday I visited Fejér county and met a wonderful lady who shares my love for embroidered and folkart textiles. She has two very cute dogs and a third one that was born in the body of a chicken but always hangs out where the dogs are🦃

Though tourists are not back to Budapest yet, locals are beginning to enjoy their city again. Meeting with friends, eating out, sitting on Liberty bridge to enjoy a lovely morning. I myself love walking across the bridge, enjoy the views and fresh air while there are no crowds yet. What about weekend plans, friends?🌞
